AI*IA 2009: International Conference on Artificial Intelligence Second announcement
Location and date The XIth International Conference of the Italian Association for Artificial Intelligence will take place in Reggio Emilia (Italy) on december 9-12, 2009. Posters can also be submitted, describing work in progress or preliminary results. Accepted posters will be published on a conference CD-Rom with regular ISBN number

Accepted posters will be published on a conference CD-Rom with regular ISBN number Papers and posters should comply with the Springer format. The authors must clearly state if their contribution is a regular paper or a poster. The maximum length of regular papers is 10 pages. The maximum length of posters is 6 pages

Call for Workshops A full day (december 12) will be dedicated to workshops. All the workshops are open to all the conference participants, and a reduced fee is available for those who wish to attend to the workshops only.
Proposals for workshops should be sent by May 15, following the form which can be found on the conference website. The proposers should clearly state the topic and the intended audience of the workshop. Once the proposal has been approved, the workshop chair will be responsible for reviewing the contributions and she/he will handle the workshop organization. Accepted papers which will be delivered to the conference organization before november 15 will be published on a CD-Rom with regular ISBN number, if the workshop chair agrees to do so. An estimate of the number of participants will be required in advance in order to provide a suitable room for the meeting. No funding for workshop participants or invited speakers will be provided by the conference organization.
Conference fee Attendance to the conference and to the workshops are limited to members of AI*IA. Participants are kindly request to register before the conference, although a possibility for on-site registration will be provided. The conference fee includes a copy of the proceedings volume, of the conference CD-Rom, coffee breaks for 4 days. It does not include membership to AI*IA.
Regular conference fee registration before august 31, 2009: 350 euro late registration, since september 1: 400 euro on-site registration: 500 euro
Student fee (without social dinner, includes proceedings volume and participation to the workshops): 130 euro ** NOT AVAILABLE ON-SITE **
